Lost then Found

It's finally a new year, and I'm determined to get back to my Miss Independent and Miss I-Can-Do-It self. I can't go back in time, so it's time to forget about time machines and the past and look forward to the future. Crystal balls may not exist, so I guess I'll have to make my own. If I've learned anything in the past year, it's that nothing's set in stone. Things change, people change; I just gotta plan for the unexpected. Fate places a person at a specific time and place, but what that person chooses to do changes everything. I'm making new plans and goals and learning to just do it. I'll be successful. I AM and always am my own fate threader...


Goals for the Year 2010 - Year of the Tiger

• Get a job/internship!!!
• Study abroad
• Dean's List!
• Get super involved in school
• Volunteer more
• Skip class less - Notice I put "less" lol.
• Exercise weekly - At least twice, get my abs back, get in shape and be toned
• Eat more healthy - I've been skipping meals the past semester :(
• Compare myself less to others
• Blog often
• Finish my art projects (at least one a week)
• Take a design course
• Practice piano weekly

There's a really big world at your fingertips
And you know you have the chance to change it
So when you get the chance

Are you gonna take it?

Why do we go with the flow
Or take an easier road?
Why are we playin' it safe?
Why don't you rise up now?

Don't be afraid to stand out
