Aite I just finished my 10 days of posting after like two months lol. Anyway I thought about doing this photo challenge I saw on facebook. It’ll keep me blogging away. :) I’m going to try to take artsy-fartsy pictures everyday instead of posting pictures I find.

Today officially marks my 22nd birthday! A week ago, I was all bummed that I wouldn’t be the perfect 21 anymore, but age is just a number. Every year that goes by gives me another year of happiness and memories.
My phone and fb notifications are racking up right now lol. Thank you everyone for your birthday wishes. I love you all.
Killer Mushrooms
I have had a fear of mushrooms ever since I was little just because I was traumatized by all the killer mushrooms in the video games I played or saw. Even until now, I refuse to eat mushrooms even though I know that they really won’t kill me. Lol this 3D illustration from pokedstudio reminds me of that. Regardless, I really dig this print! haha

Hello, Year of the Rabbit
My weeks seem to go by pretty fast this semester. I only have three classes left to graduate, all on Tues Thurs, which leaves me with 4-day weekends. Time flies when you have a lot more free time, yet I still have so much to do. I really do have issues dealing with time.
It’s Lunar New Year today, so I’m going to start my resolutions from this month lol. Some are new or just a continuation of last year’s.
-Look for marketing-related internships/jobs.
-Finish super strong on my Microsoft internship! I want to win a XBOX 360 and some -fly headphones.
-Do two art/design projects a month. [note to self: buy an album!]
-Graduate. Haha.
-Get involved A LOT more in the honor societies (Golden Key & Beta Gamma Sigma)
-Continue being active in intramurals and school events. (SUAAB!)
-Volunteer more.
-Eat better and exercise.
-Study abroad!!! I’m so doing it this summer. I want to take both design and marketing classes.
-Take my GMAT and apply to grad schools.
-Look into marketing/design programs at UNT.

Life is full of surprises...
So it’s 8:18 am, I’m still a little intoxicated and can’t go back to sleep. I passed out around 5ish? [(-__-)]zZzzz I got drunk and threw up, but surprisingly it wasn’t too bad or much.
Last night was pretty badass; my uji threw me a surprise birthday party. At first I thought I was just having dinner, then I got suspicious when dinner got pushed back to 9ish. Lol wth I was hungry! Then an hour before I get picked up for “dinner”, I get a call from Larry saying that he’s sorry he can’t make it out tonight due to his flooded house. At this, I respond with “What are you talking about? What’s happening tonight?” He attempts to cover it up and hastily ends the convos. Lol fail.
I finally get picked up for dinner, and I play along that I don’t know about the party. Although I wasn’t surprised that people popped out once I opened the door, I was very pleasantly surprised at all the festivities that follow the rest of the night. Amara made me a cake that was a turtle! Of course anything turtle makes me go ga-ga so I was super stoked. It was so cute that I didn’t even want to eat it.
Surprise #2 was for dinner we made sushi, kabobs, and sliders from fast food. We tried it as a tribute to EpicMealTime from YouTube. Here we’re talking about chicken nuggets, fries, burgers, and bacon. Mhmmm so gooood but so bad at the same time.
Surprise #3: I was getting “salt” out of the pantry and find a huge pink penis piñata. Lol I always wanted one because I thought it would be hilarious to literally “nutcrack”. And I did! :) Ohh only me… call me not normal. My uji made it out of paper mache? Whatever they made it out of, it was incredibly hard. *That’s what she said.* I was whacking blindfolded at it with a sword, and it took me forever! Haha well I finally got the job done, and it jizzed chocolate. Suhweet.
Surprise #4: I get a “920”TB external harddrive! :D Lol nah take off the drawn-on 9 and 0, and it’s still goood.
Surprise #5: I get pulled out to the balcony for another surprise. I ended up getting ambushed with my cake. Yep so I really didn’t get to eat my super cute turtle cake. I still have dry cake and frosting all over me. My hair and clothes look like I got jizzed on by that piñata.
For the rest of the night, we played games and drank. Oh yeah there was also an awesome photobooth that Steven made for another project, but we got to use it for the night. It’s super legit. We skyped with Melanie for awhile because she couldn’t be there.
Thank you everyone for an awesome and amazing bday party (especially Steven because you probably put it together lol). Thanks for risking your lives on the icy roads to be there and to throw me a party lol. I feel super loved. Thank you uji for being the best family away from home. I love you all. What are the chances that everyone in G.Phan is artsy or creative in some way? It was just meant to be. <3<3<3

Today is snow day #2, well more like ice day. Either way no classes, which officially makes it a 6-day weekend for me. <3 Thank you Mother Nature for an early birthday present, just don’t overdo it for those who have to get places. And you Texas ppl suck at driving in this weather.

Aite so back to my post, 1 degree in Wichita, and 40 degrees in Atlanta. Good thing I picked the latter to spend both my birthday and Lunar New Year lol.
On another note, snow is really pretty. It’s fleeting like a memory; one moment it’s there happening right in front of you, and the next it disappears…

Last Christmas
I love Christmas; it’s the best holiday of the year. I don’t think it’s all about the presents, but it’s much more than that. It’s the festivity, especially the love and joy that’s in the air. People are happy. People are giving because it’s the holiday season. It’s not getting things in return but it’s giving as an act of kindness (volunteering, donating to people who are less fortunate, helping them have a happy holiday as well) or just as act of appreciation (giving my family presents to show them that I appreciate their love and support).
Anyway happy holidays everyone. May your holidays be filled with love and happiness.
